The K series
A new K1200 engine powers the sportier "K" models: the S, R and GT. This light, high-performance powerhouse uses cylinder head technology taken directly from BMW's successful Formula One car engines. The F650GS and Dakar
F650GS The fun, do-everything GS continues to receive rave reviews in the press. These tough and versatile machines were used by BMW as the basis for overall wins in the 1999 Granada-Dakar and the 2000 Paris-Dakar-Cairo desert/road rallies. The Dakar model commemorates this achievement.
